No Tax Funds Required

Brookside – One of the best features of TV 25 is that it is tax free.  The station startup cost is funded by Patriot Cable, while ongoing operating costs will be covered by sponsorships and fundraising activities.

The model has been used successfully in over 100 New Jersey communities, including Summit and Bernardsville.

A Recreation Committee sub committee and other interested members of the community have met over the past year to ready TV-25 for start-up. Plans include working with neighboring communities and local school to make this station one of New Jersey ’s best. Consultative services have been provided by the Summit Station.

News Program Request

Ralston — Local residents and citizens are urged to send along community information and program ideas to TV-25.

Upcoming Local events should feature time, site, date, sponsoring group and whom to contact The station will feature a news Bulletin Board which will run 24-7 to keep members of the community abreast of upcoming activities as well as recent results.

In addition, the station is looking for local programming and event coverage. Digital camera use is requested. One-time or regular programs are encouraged. Already local producers have shown interest in historical features, sports activities and the July 4 Parade.
