MEETING The meeting of the Mendham Township
Planning Board was called to order at ROLL
CALL Present:
Mr. Willemsen, Mayor Phelan, Mrs. Kinsel, Mr. Giordano, Mr. Buchanan, Mr. Tolley Absent: Mr. Mountain, Mr. Maglione, Mr. D’Emidio Also Present: Mr. Kenneth Van Deventer, Attorney,

NOTICE of this meeting of the Mendham
Township Planning Board was given as follows:
Notice was sent to the DAILY RECORD
and the OBSERVER TRIBUNE on
January 11, 2001; Notice was posted on the Bulletin Board in the Township Hall
in Brookside, N.J. on January 11, 2001 and Notice was filed with the Township
Clerk on January 11, 2001. Mr. Willemsen introduced Kenneth Van
Deventer, attorney with Riker, MINUTES
– STREET NAMES ORDINANCE – 26-2001Mr. Willemsen introduced the ordinance
determining how street names are assigned. He indicated the need for this
amendment came as a result of the Township Committee receiving requests from
residents to rename streets after family members.
Board members agreed to convey their approval and support to the Township
Committee. Motion was made by
Mr. Giordano, seconded by Mr. Buchanan and carried
to approve the amendment (See attached Memo to the Township Committee). ISLAND COMMUNICATIONS/MOUNTAIN UNION TELECOM
Mr. Phelan recused himself and stepped
down. Mr. Willemsen reviewed the
original Order of Procedure for continuation of this Public Hearing. Ms. Erem represented the applicant.
