New Jersey Census 2020
The Census will soon be upon us and much is at stake. Our representation in Congress and our fair share of federal dollars are directly impacted by the accuracy of our census count.
In a continuing effort to prepare for the upcoming Census and as part of the NJ Census 2020 effort, the New Jersey Department of State – Complete Count Commission and its partners from around the State invite you to a training focused on how to organize and lead a Local Complete Count Committee (LCCC) in your town or community, to spread the word about the Census and encourage residents to complete their census forms!
Who should attend: Anyone who will be involved in the Census effort in your town or community. To name some - Mayors, members of town councils, municipal clerks, municipal managers, town business managers, individual community members, non-profit leaders, community associations, faith based organizations, neighborhood associations, etc. Even if you have already formed a committee, this training, which focuses on the ‘how to’ in organizing an LCCC, will be helpful.
