of the Mendham Township Planning Board was given as follows: Notice was sent to

STATEMENT
OF EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURE: “In
case of an emergency requiring the evacuation of this room there are two
emergency exit doors along the side that you entered. In the foyer you may then
either exit down the open stairwell to the exterior or enter the enclosed
stairwell and exit to the exterior at the bottom. Then please move away from the
building until instructed that it is safe to re-enter.”

ORGANIZATION
Mr. Falcon administered the Oath of Office to the following
members of the Board who have been appointed or reappointed: Mayor Pierson, Mr.
Mountain, Mr. D’Emidio, Mrs. Link and Mr. Timpson.
Mr.
Falcon asked for a motion to appoint Ms. Hope Warrington as Planning Board
Secretary for 2004. Mr. Majorossy made a motion to designate Ms. Warrington as
Secretary; Mayor Pierson seconded the motion; vote
all aye.
Mr.
Falcon asked for a motion for the designation of Chairman of the Planning Board
for 2004. Mr. Tolley made a motion to designate Mr. Giordano as Chairman; Mayor
Pierson seconded the motion.
ROLL
CALL – All present voted yes.
Mr.
Giordano asked for a motion for the designation of Vice Chairman of the Planning
Board for 2004. Mr. D’Emidio made a motion to designate Mr. Tolley as Vice
Chairman; Mayor Pierson seconded the motion.
ROLL
CALL – All present voted yes.
Mr.
Falcon administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Giordano and Mr. Tolley.
Mr.
Tolley made a motion to appoint Mr. Falcon, Planning Board Attorney; Mr. Balut,
Township Engineer; Mr. Aubin, Environmentalist; and, Mr. Kimball, Planner; Mr.
Majorossy seconded the motion.
ROLL
CALL – All present voted yes.
RESOLUTION
OF APPRECIATION FOR MRS. KINSEL
Chairman
Giordano read aloud a Resolution of Appreciation for Mrs. Kinsel’s dedication
and service to the Planning Board of Mendham Township for over four years. Mr.
D’Emidio stated that Mrs. Kinsel has done a tremendous job and made a motion
to adopt the Resolution of Appreciation; Mr. Tolley seconded the motion and
added that he has enjoyed working with Mrs. Kinsel.
ROLL
CALL – All present voted yes.
RESOLUTION
PB-04-01 – Establishing regular meeting schedule for 2004 and January and
February 2005
RESOLUTION
PB-04-02 – Designating newspapers and fixing charges for notices of meetings.
Mr.
Tolley made a motion to adopt both Resolution PB-04-02 and Resolution PB-04-2;
Mr. D’Emidio seconded the motion.
ROLL
CALL – All present voted yes.
Chairman
Giordano noted that the standing committees continue as currently appointed with
the exception of Mrs. Kinsel’s appointment to the TRC. Chairman Giordano will
discuss with Mrs. Link her willingness and agreement to serve as a member of the
TRC.
There
being no additional matters to come before the Board, upon motion duly made and
seconded, the meeting adjourned
8:00 p.m.
